AHMSA sees decrease in Q4 results

Altos Hornos de Mexico’s (AHMSA) Ebtida decreased 25.7 in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2014 to MXN 45.9 million (US$3.063 million), year-on-year, the company reported Friday.

According to the company’s filing with Mexico’s stock exchange Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, AHMSA’s sales in Q4 increased by 16.8 percent, year-on-year, to MXN 11.45 million (US$762,000).

In the last quarter of the year, AHMSA steel sales increased by 8.3 percent to 990,000,704 mt.
