Abu Dhabi Pipe & Profile Industries Complex LLC (ADPICO), which is one of the largest tube manufacturers in the Middle East, is set for further expansion. Accordingly, the facility will be expanded in order to include a spiral welded pipe production line, which the company believes will add a new product and quality standard to the region.

ADPICO targets in the Middle East market include water transmission projects, structural applications, industrial applications, pile applications, and the oil and gas industry which will be supplied with API (American Petroleum Institute) standardized spiral welded steel pipes. It is expected that the first premium spiral welded pipe will leave the factory in Mussafah in May 2009.
