Admiralty Resources doubles iron ore resources at Chilean project

Australia-based iron ore producer Admiralty Resources has announced that it has increased its iron ore resource estimate for its Mariposa iron ore project in Chile to 174.5 million mt from 87.8 million mt.
 
Following the doubling of the iron ore resource estimate at Mariposa, the total iron ore resources in Harper South District amount to 264.7 million mt, including 90 million mt of resources at Soberana.
 
Admiralty Resources stated that the increase in iron ore resources has brought the company closer to production.
