Acesita’s new grade of stainless steel

Brazilian stainless steel producer Acesita has developed a new grade of stainless steel which is favorable for the production of railroad cars and space frame for buses. The new grade called P410D will be 50% cheaper than conventional stainless steel and allows for a 15% reduction in weight of bus frames. Acesita expects to sell 4'200 tons of P410D per year to railroad car producers.
