Accident at Mittal Steel Kriviy Rih's coke workshop

The collapse of metal support constructions occurred yesterday, January 25, at the final gas cooler N3 in the benzene department of the coke workshop of Ukrainian steel producer Mittal Steel Kriviy Rih. The department was closed down more than a year ago for reconstruction works. Due to its closure, the accident did not result in any loss of life. The Ukrainian steelmaker has moved to repair the damage caused by the collapse.
