Acciaierie Venete obtains €20 million loan from Intesa Sanpaolo

APCOM news agency reports that Italian steel producer Acciaierie Venete has obtained a €20 million loan from local bank Intesa Sanpaolo. The funding will be used to set a new high-tech continuous casting plant to be supplied by Italian plantmaker Danieli.       

With the new equipment, Acciaierie Venete will be able to produce large diameter round billets, mainly used in the wind tower sector.
