92 percent of quota used for seamless steel pipe imports to Ukraine

As of May 31, 2012, according to information from Ukraine's Ministry of Economy, importers of steel pipes to Ukraine used 92.18 percent of their annual quota (up to the end of September 2012) for imports of steel seamless casing and tubing with diameters up to 406.4 mm.

For the period from October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012, the quota in question is 16,753 mt. Of this figure, the unused quota volume is 1,311 mt. In particular, Russia used 99.92 percent of its quota (11,900 mt) for exports of the mentioned products to Ukraine, Austria used 99 percent (2,430 mt) of its quota, Poland used 27.2 percent (300 mt) of its quota, Romania used 100 percent (209 mt) of its quota, while other countries used 77 percent (603 mt) of their quotas.
