88.3 percent of quota used for seamless steel pipe imports to Ukraine

As of July 1, importers of steel pipes to Ukraine used 88.33 percent of their annual quota (up to the end of September 2011) for imports of steel seamless casing and tubing with diameters up to 406.4 mm.


For the period from October 1, 2010 to September 30, 2011, the quota in question is 15,955 mt. Of this figure, the unused quota volume is 1,861 mt. In particular, Russia used 100 percent of its quota (11,342 mt) for exports of the mentioned products to Ukraine, Austria used 53.74 percent (1,256 mt) of its quota, Poland used 99.9 percent (1,050 mt), China used 100 percent (46 mt), and Romania used 100 percent of its quota (200 mt). Slovakia and India did not have licenses for steel pipe deliveries to Ukraine.
