First you enter the username and password-that has been sent to you by SteelOrbis-correctly, then after you enter a new username and password you may login to the site. With your new password you can make effective use of the SteelOrbis content and can create auctions by using the trade platform, and make trade over SteelOrbis.

Member companies of SteelOrbis, can follow the daily price reports, industrial analysis, sector news and will have the opportunity of reaching confidentially all kind of trading database at short notice.

Member companies of SteelOrbis Trade Platform which is being developed for the steel industry will allow them to trade for raw materials and products by the market place. Member companies receive the best price in the market in optimum conditions by using auction or reverse auction methods. Our members when opening an auction over SteelOrbis, they organize the details of the auction, information about the auction opening date, time, duration, type, participants, loading and transport terms, and payment terms according to their trade strategies before the auction.  

You will be in a position to perform the trading of; Scrap and Pig Iron as Raw Materials, Slab and Billets as Semi-Finished Products, Wire Rod and Rebars as Long Products, Hot Rolled Steel and Cold Rolled Steel as flat products.  

Members will be able to open auctions for the products they produce or carry on the trade of, like raw materials, semi-finished, long, flat and welded products.  

"My Auctions" page shows the auctions organized by the member company and the participating regulations to the auctions arranged by other companies. Member companies can participate only in the auctions they are invited.

Participation to the auctions is determined by the selection of the auctioneer. Members not participating in an auction won't be able to see the details of the auction. In this case no one can be able to participate in the auction except the members which are invited.  

SteelOrbis is designed both for English and Turkish. Creating an auction in both languages is possible. For instance, a member can create an auction in Turkish but the participants can give their offers in English, or vice versa.  

Yes. An auction may last only for 24 hours.  

Yes. You can organize an auction for at least three days later and at most six months later.  

Determination of the participating companies is completely dependent to the selection of the auctioneer. The auctioneer may invite all the SteelOrbis members to the auction. Or the auctioneer may restrict the participation.  

You will be informed about the contact information of the company you have concluded the auction in favor of and the details of the organized auction.  

Yes you can! You can reach SteelOrbis on any computer that has internet connection.
